Free Staff Nurses

Our Filipino Staff Nurses are either:

1. Registered with the NMC in the UK, and have recently been, or presently are resident in the UK.
2. Degree qualified Registered Nurses in their own country, the Philippines, with at least 3 years of experience of general nursing in a Hospital or Care Home setting. They will have been accepted by the NMC for registration subject to their satisfactory completion of the ONP (Overseas Nurses Program) and a period of Supervised Placement (also referred to as Adaptation) in a suitable workplace, such as a Care Home.

They are all high calibre, hard-working, flexible and efficient, and they are well known for their cheerful, positive attitude, which is great for the general level of morale amongst both staff and residents. All are competent in the English language, with IELTS Academic scores of minimum 7 in all 4 areas.

The placement fee for Nurses in category a) above is equal to 1 month’s gross pay. There is NO COST TO YOU for the placement of applicants in category b) above, but for applicants in either category we do ask the employer to arrange accommodation for the applicant, since they are best placed to do this, using their local knowledge. Normally, the accommodation is situated convenient to the Care Home so that the employer can benefit from having these flexible people close to hand. The actual rental cost of the accommodation is deducted by the employer from monthly salary.
